Terms & Conditions
1. Registration & Enrolment
- All participants must be registered and have completed the required forms before attending any sessions.
- Parents/guardians must provide accurate information, including emergency contacts and medical details.
- Participants will be grouped by age and/or ability at the discretion of the academy staff.
2. Fees & Payment
- All fees must be paid in advance (weekly, monthly, or termly as agreed).
- Fees are non-refundable unless a session is cancelled by the academy.
- No reductions or credits are given for missed sessions due to illness, holidays, or other personal reasons.
- A late payment policy may apply and could result in suspension from classes until fees are paid.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- If a class is cancelled by the academy (e.g. due to weather, staff illness, or venue issues), a make-up class or credit will be offered.
- 4 weeks notice given to cancel subscription, Written notice must be sent to via email or text to Stephen at Dargavelfootballacademy@gmail.com or 07984601870.
4. Attendance & Punctuality
- Participants should arrive 10 minutes before the session starts, dressed and ready to play.
5. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
- A responsible adult must be present for children under 5 during sessions.
- Parents/guardians must drop off and collect children promptly at the start and end of each session.
- Children must not be left unattended before or after their session time.
6. Child Behaviour & Discipline
- All children must listen to coaches and follow instructions for their own safety and the safety of others.
- Disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behaviour may result in temporary or permanent exclusion from the program.
7. Kit & Equipment
- Children must wear appropriate sports clothing and football boots or trainers.
- Shin guards are mandatory for players aged 6 and above.
- We recommend labelling all belongings. The academy is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
8. Health & Safety
- Parents/guardians must inform the academy of any allergies, medical conditions, or injuries prior to participation.
- Children must not attend if unwell or showing symptoms of contagious illness.
- In the event of an emergency, basic first aid may be administered and emergency services contacted if necessary.
9. Weather Policy
- Outdoor sessions will generally go ahead in light rain. In cases of severe weather, cancellations will be communicated via text/email/WhatsApp.
- If cancelled, a makeup session or credit will be offered.
10. Photos & Media Consent
- From time to time, photos or videos may be taken for promotional or training purposes.
- Parents/guardians may opt out by notifying the academy in writing before the start of the term.
11. Insurance & Liability
- The academy holds public liability insurance.
- Participation is at the player’s own risk. Parents are encouraged to arrange personal accident insurance if desired.
- The academy is not liable for personal injury, except where caused by proven negligence, or for loss/damage of personal property.
12. Changes to Terms
- The academy may update these terms periodically. Any significant changes will be communicated in writing.
